How can I get from the Doubletree Hotel to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester MN from here?

You actually have several options to get to the Mayo Clinic. Generally speaking my number one recommended way is to utilize the complementary Lincoln Town car service that we provide, this is offered and maintained by our Bell Staff every day from 6 a.m. until eleven p.m. Simply approach the front desk about ten minutes before you are ready to go we would be more than happy to take you over directly to the Mayo Clinic and come back and pick you up as well. Otherwise we are connected to the Mayo Clinic via the sky way and pedestrian subway system which are climate controlled. You are more than welcome to navigate through these and we have detailed maps. We would be more than happy to show you the way as well. Otherwise, you can certainly go outside which is an absolutely fantastic choice, six months out of the year. Now the other four or five months out of the year I would recommend staying indoors as much as possible.

What if I don’t know how long I will be staying?

We come across that question quite often, most people are coming here for medical purposes. They sort of come and go at the whim of the Mayo Clinic in Rochester and we are completely understanding of that situation. There is no penalty for shortening your stay or for lengthening your stay. Generally speaking it is a little bit easier to shorten a stay rather than extend it. However we do everything in our power to accommodate both of those requests. We understand that you may be here one day or it could be two weeks and either way we would be more than happy to take care of it.

Can you help me if I forget my toothbrush or razor at home?

Really any of these standard toiletry items, personal items, we have complementary here at the hotel. You’d be amazed how often someone forgets to pack a specific item as you say a tooth brush, tooth paste something of that nature. We would be more than happy to provide that in your room at no charge.
