Health and Safety

 

Please ensure that you have read and are aware of the displayed Health and Safety Policy before making your class entries or riding on the ground.

 

The event organisers will not accept onto the showground any horse/pony, which they deem to be unsuitable for or  inadequately controlled by the rider.  Any combinations considered to behave in a manner likely to endanger other competitors will be asked to leave the ground.

 

No lunging of any horse/pony at any time or anywhere on the ground except by express arrangement with the event organisers.

 

Horses/ponies to proceed at walk  except in designated warm up rings.

 

No competitor to be in the jumping warm up ring except immediately prior to a jumping class which they are entered and due to compete.

No fence in the practise ring may exceed the height of the course over which a competitor is due to compete. PRACTISE FENCES MUST BE JUMPED WITH RED WING ON YOUR RIGHT.

Show Jumping – 12 noon

Class 1 – Clear Round. 45cm No entry taken after 12.30, to include lead rein/beginners 10 years and under class, initial round to take place during clear round.

Class 2 – 55cm – For ponies not exceeding 14.2hh

 

All jumping classes will be split horses/ponies if entries permit

Class 3 – 65cm 

Class 4 – 75cm

Class 5 – 85cm

Class 6 – 95cm For horses exceeding 14.2hh.

 

(Classes 4, 5, 6 double clear round qualify for David Broome Championships)

 

Ridden and Inhand Showing – 11.00am

Class 7 – Lead Rein and First Ridden Style and Appearance  - Riders 10 years and under.

Class 8 – Style and Appearance Not Exceeding 14.2hh

Class 9 – Style and Appearance Exceeding 14.2hh

Class 10 – Riding Club Horse/Pony (Class will incorporate jumping two fences not to exceed 65 cm).

Class 11 – Open Inhand

Class 12 – Best Condition Inhand

 

Dressage 10am2pm 

Class 16 Have a go

For horses and riders who do not regularly compete above prelim. Any tack permitted.

Class 17 Prelim (Scores over 58% qualify for David Broome Championships)

Sections – Junior and Senior, Restricted (horses with no BD points), Open (horses with BD points)

Class 18 Novice (Scores over 58% qualify for David Broome Championships)

Sections – Restricted (horses with less than 75 BD points), Open (horses with 75+ BD points)
